Inverness and the Caingorms

Traveled by train from Inverness to Perth today; through the Caingorms. Spectacular scenery all the way, unfortunately it’s difficult to film as trees line much of the track.
Inverness feels remote, although it has a good selection of bars and restaurants – probably supported by the tourist trail. There is a much stronger Gaelic feeling up here too, many road signs are in Gaelic making it feel more ‘foreign’.
It also has to be said that they have some truly awful 60’s buildings – like the horror next to the castle – whatever it is pull it down now…
